Zoe and the Wobbly Tower
In a cozy living room, filled with soft sunlight, lived a bright-eyed girl named Zoe. Zoe was a very kind and curious child, always ready for a new adventure right there at home. One sunny morning, she decided to build the most magnificent tower ever, using all her colorful blocks.
Zoe carefully picked up a big red block, then a bright yellow one, stacking them higher and higher. Her tower grew taller than her favorite teddy bear, then taller than her little table! She hummed a happy tune, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Almost to the sky!" she whispered, adding a small blue block to the very top.
But just as she placed the last block, the tall tower wobbled. It swayed from side to side like a sleepy tree. Zoe held her breath, her eyes wide. CRASH! Down came all the blocks, tumbling into a colorful pile on the rug. "Oh no!" Zoe exclaimed, a little sigh escaping her lips.
A tiny frown touched Zoe's face, but only for a moment. Her curiosity quickly took over. "Hmm, why did it fall?" she wondered aloud, looking closely at the scattered blocks. She noticed some were small on the bottom, and big on top. "Maybe I can try again, and make it stronger!" she decided, her kind heart ready to forgive the fallen tower.
So, Zoe started again, this time putting the biggest, strongest blocks at the bottom. She built a wider base, like a giant's sturdy feet. Up, up, up went the tower, block by colorful block. It felt much more stable this time! She smiled, watching her new, stronger tower reach for the ceiling.
