Zoe skipped into Grandpa Leo’s art studio, a magical room that smelled of crayons and creativity. A giant white canvas stood on an easel, looking a little lonely. “Oh dear,” Grandpa Leo sighed, scratching his head. “This canvas is so empty, my ideas must be hiding.” Zoe giggled, giving his hand a squeeze. “Don’t you worry, Grandpa! I know how to wake up the colors. They’re just feeling a bit shy today.”

Zoe tiptoed to the big shelf of paints. “Hello, Mr. Sunny Yellow!” she chirped, picking up the brightest tube. “Are you ready to shine?” She then grabbed a tube of bold blue. “And Mrs. Ocean Blue, would you like to dance across the canvas?” Grandpa Leo chuckled as Zoe made the colors swirl and twirl, creating a big, beautiful sunset over a sparkling sea. They laughed when a tiny drop of red paint landed right on Grandpa’s nose, making him look like the kindest clown in the world.

Soon, the canvas was filled with happy colors, all snuggled together in their beautiful painting. Feeling her own energy begin to fade, Zoe helped Grandpa Leo gently put the sleepy paint tubes back to bed in their box. The sunset they painted looked peaceful and ready for the night. Grandpa wrapped Zoe in a warm, cozy hug. “You have the kindest heart and the brightest imagination,” he whispered softly.

Curled up in Grandpa's big comfy chair, Zoe felt her eyes getting very heavy. The painting seemed to glow quietly in the dim light. The sunny yellow, the peaceful blue, and the happy red were all dreaming together on the canvas... just as Zoe was about to do in her own warm bed. Safe and loved, and ready for sweet dreams.
