In the sunny kingdom of Sparklehorn, lived the bravest knight of all: a little girl named Zoe. Her castle walls were made of gingerbread, and the rainbow river flowed with sparkling lemonade. Every morning, Zoe practiced her courageous knightly skills, not with swords, but by gently hopping over sleepy badger-guards and playing hide-and-seek with the fluffy royal bunnies. She loved her peaceful, happy home more than anything.

But one day, a great, loud stomping shook the gingerbread walls! A grumpy giant named Grizelda had moved onto the mountain, and she blocked the rainbow river with her giant foot. The lemonade stopped sparkling, and all the flowers, which smelled like strawberry cupcakes, began to droop. The kingdom grew quiet and sad. Someone had to do something, and everyone knew Zoe was the bravest.

Zoe puffed out her chest, grabbed her shiniest helmet, and marched toward the mountain. But when she saw Grizelda, the giant was bigger than the tallest tower! Zoe shouted, “Please move your foot!” but the giant just let out a booming, “RUMBLE-RUMBLE-GRUMBLE!” that made Zoe’s armor rattle. Feeling very small, Zoe scurried away and hid in a cave, where she found a little dragon with shimmering scales, hiding from the noise. The dragon, whose name was Flicker, was too shy to even puff a single spark.

Looking at the scared little dragon, Zoe realized that true courage wasn’t about being the biggest or the loudest. It was about being kind, even when you’re scared. She offered Flicker her pocket-snack, a sparkly cupcake. Then she had an idea! Together, they crept back to the giant. “Excuse me!” Zoe called bravely. As Grizelda looked down, Flicker took a deep breath and blew a gentle puff of warm, sparkly air right onto the giant’s toes. It didn't hurt—it tickled! The giant let out a surprising, “RUMBLE-GIGGLE-RUMBLE!”

Grizelda giggled so much she fell right over, unblocking the river! She wasn’t mean; she was just lonely. Zoe and Flicker showed her how to play hide-and-seek with the bunnies instead of stomping. With Grizelda as their new friend and protector, the kingdom of Sparklehorn became happier and brighter than ever before. Zoe learned that the greatest courage comes from a kind heart and a good friend, no matter how big the problem, or how shy the dragon.
