Once upon a cozy evening, as the sun painted the sky in shades of peach and lavender, two curious sisters named Maya and Zoe were building the grandest sandcastle on Sandy Bay. They decorated it with feathery seaweed and tiny, smooth stones. "It's the best castle ever!" Maya said, and Zoe clapped her hands, her heart full of bubbly, happy feelings.

But then, a sneaky little wave, bigger than the rest, rushed up the shore. Whoosh! It tickled their toes and, with a soft sigh, washed half of their beautiful castle away. A big, wobbly, sad feeling swelled up inside Zoe's chest, and a tear rolled down her cheek. "Oh no," she whispered, looking at the melted towers.

Maya hugged her sister. "It's okay, Zoe. Feelings are like the waves, they come and go." Just then, they noticed something the wave had left behind: two perfect, pearly shells that shimmered in the twilight. They were shaped like tiny ears, and when Maya held one close, she thought she could hear the ocean whispering a secret.

"The ocean says we can whisper our feelings to the shells," Maya said softly. So Zoe picked up a shell and whispered her big, wobbly, sad feeling into it. Then she picked up the other and whispered about the happy, bubbly feeling of building the castle. The sad feeling seemed to shrink, while the happy feeling grew warm inside her, like a little sun.

They learned that it was okay to have all sorts of feelings, just like the beach has all sorts of treasures. Holding their happy-feeling shells, they watched the stars begin to twinkle. The ocean waves now sounded like a soft lullaby, and with cozy hearts, Maya and Zoe knew it was time to snuggle in and dream sweet dreams of their magical day at the beach.
