Hannah's Magical Christmas Ride
Hannah woke up with a fluttery feeling in her tummy. It was Christmas Day! Her house smelled like warm cinnamon and yummy roast turkey. Hannah loved Christmas, and she especially loved helping her Mum and Dad get everything ready. First, she helped put all the shiny baubles on the tree, making sure each one sparkled just right.
Later, after a super yummy breakfast of pancakes, it was time for presents! Hannah opened a big, wrapped box. Inside was the most magnificent, shiny red bike she had ever seen! "Wow!" she gasped, her eyes wide. "Now I can ride this to school every single day!" she bounced with excitement. She couldn't wait to try it out!
Hannah quickly ran outside, ready to hop on her new bike. But as she opened the back door, she saw her little brother, Tom, looking a bit sad. His new robot toy wasn't working properly, and he was trying very hard to fix it, but the little wheel kept popping off. Hannah felt a little wiggle of frustration. She wanted to ride her bike so much, but Tom looked so forlorn. She knew she could help!
Taking a deep breath, Hannah put her bike down carefully. "Don't worry, Tom," she said with a kind smile. "Let's see if we can fix it together!" She knelt beside him, patiently looking at the robot. She remembered how Dad showed her to put tiny pieces together. Gently, she held the wheel while Tom pushed it firmly into place. *Click!* It worked! Tom’s face lit up, and he gave Hannah a huge hug.
With Tom happily playing with his robot, Hannah finally hopped onto her shiny red bike. The sun felt warm on her face as she pedalled around the garden. She imagined riding it to school, feeling the wind in her hair. It was an amazing Christmas Day, not just because of her wonderful new bike, but because she felt so happy helping her little brother. Helping others made her heart feel warm and fuzzy, just like a Christmas hug!
