Once upon a time, just as you were snuggling into your bed, a tiny light blinked outside your window. It wasn't a star, it was a little firefly named Flicker. Flicker danced in the air, zipping left and then right, as if to say, "Friend, come see a secret!" You felt a little tug of adventure, so you quietly tiptoed to the window to watch.

Flicker led your eyes on an adventure across the moonlit garden. The big green leaves of the hosta plants looked like magical lily pads, and a sleepy snail left a silvery trail that sparkled like glitter. Flicker zipped over a quiet little puddle, making the moon's reflection ripple and dance. Everything in your familiar garden felt new and full of quiet magic.

The little firefly finally settled on the branch of the big, old oak tree at the edge of the yard. And that's when you saw the secret. One by one, hundreds of other fireflies began to glow, turning the whole tree into a softly pulsing, silent beacon of light. They blinked on and off, on and off, like a slow, sparkling lullaby just for you.

Watching the gentle, blinking lights made your own eyes feel heavy. Flicker gave one last, slow blink, as if to say goodnight. You tiptoed back to your bed, pulling the warm covers up to your chin. The adventure was over, and it was time for sleep. You closed your eyes, ready to dream of soft, floating lights... drifting... sleeping... goodnight, Friend.
