Flora and the Starlight Pond

Once upon a time, just as the sun was painting the sky in sleepy shades of orange and pink, a little girl named Flora saw a butterfly shimmering with all the colors of a rainbow. It fluttered just outside her window, inviting her on an adventure. Flora quietly tiptoed outside and followed the sparkling guide into the Whispering Woods, where the trees hummed a gentle, secret song.

The butterfly led Flora deeper into the woods, along a path of soft, glowing moss. Soon, they came to a hidden clearing. In the center was a small pond, but it wasn't filled with water. It was filled with twinkling, liquid starlight! Flora knelt down and dipped her fingers in. The starlight felt cool and smooth, and tiny, bright stars swirled around her hand before dancing up into the air.

A warm, peaceful feeling spread through Flora, from her starlit fingertips all the way to her sleepy toes. The little butterfly fluttered down to rest on a patch of moss that looked as soft as a velvet pillow. Flora yawned a big, quiet yawn and curled up on the cozy moss. The trees hummed their soft lullaby, the starlight from the pond cast a gentle glow, and Flora's eyes slowly, slowly drifted closed, ready for sweet, magical dreams.
