Flora, with her fuzzy bunny slippers on, tiptoed into her backyard just as the world was being painted in soft purples and oranges. The first stars began to twinkle, and so did tiny, floating lights near the old oak tree. They were fireflies! Flora imagined they were little adventure-fairies, lighting a secret path just for her. "I'll follow you," she whispered, her heart fluttering with quiet excitement as she took her little lantern and began her journey across the soft, dewy grass.

The fireflies danced ahead, leading her past the sleepy rose bushes to the edge of the little garden stream. The water whispered a soft, shushing song as it trickled over smooth, grey stones. The fireflies gathered over the water, their lights reflecting like a thousand tiny fallen stars, making the stream glitter and glow. Flora sat down on a patch of moss that felt like a velvet cushion, watching the gentle light show and listening to the stream's sleepy song.

A gentle yawn escaped Flora. The fireflies' blinking lights seemed to slow down, too, pulsing like slow, sleepy heartbeats. One little firefly landed softly on her hand, its light a warm, gentle glow before it flew up to join its friends in the now dark, quiet sky. The whispering stream and the soft lights made her eyelids feel as heavy as warm blankets. It was time to follow the path back to her own cozy bed, carrying the sparkly, sleepy magic of the fireflies in her dreams.
