Hello Maya, settle in close. Tonight's story is about a tiny firefly named Flicker. Flicker had wings that sparkled like little stars and a light that glowed with a warm, happy hum. One evening, as the moon began to peek over the sleepy hills, Flicker saw a baby bunny, wiggling its nose, its eyes wide awake. "I will find the softest, most magical light in the whole meadow to help you sleep," Flicker whispered. And with a brave but quiet zip, his gentle adventure began.

Flicker flew past tall blades of grass that swayed like they were dancing in their sleep. He saw the big, kind moon spill its silvery light onto the meadow, making everything shimmer softly. Then, he spotted it. On the edge of a big, velvety clover leaf, a single, perfect dewdrop had caught the moonlight. It wasn't a bright, wake-up light, but a gentle, dreamy glow that pulsed ever so slowly, like a quiet, sleepy heartbeat.

Very, very carefully, Flicker hovered beside the dewdrop, using his own light to guide the soft, sleepy glow toward the baby bunny. The gentle light drifted over the bunny's fluffy ears and tiny, twitching nose. The bunny let out a big, soft yawn, and its little eyes began to close. Seeing the bunny so peaceful made Flicker feel very sleepy, too. He found a soft petal nearby, curled up his sparkly wings, and let his own little light dim down... down... down... drifting into the coziest dreams.
