When the moonbeams peeked through the window, Fernando the explorer toy woke up. He lived in a magical Toy Kingdom that smelled of crayons and soft blankets. With his tiny wooden magnifying glass, Fernando loved to map the giant, fuzzy rug and ask questions. "Why is the dust bunny so fluffy?" he'd whisper. "Where does the shadow of the big chair go to sleep?"

One night, his explorations led him to the base of Bookshelf Mountain. There, he saw it: a messy pile of colorful blocks. A wise old teddy bear once told him that a super sparkly star sticker was hidden on the tallest block, but no one had ever been able to build a tower high enough to reach it. Fernando’s wooden heart thumped with excitement. A new adventure!

Fernando pushed and pulled the blocks. He tried stacking the round one on the triangle one. Clack-clack-CRUMBLE! He tried putting the little square block on the long, skinny one. Clack-clack-CRUMBLE! "Why won't you stack?" he asked the blocks. He felt his explorer's spirit begin to droop. Maybe the tower was just too tricky.

Just as he sat down with a huff, he remembered Teddy's other piece of advice: "An explorer tries, tries, and then tries a new way!" Fernando looked again, not just with his eyes, but with his curious mind. He noticed the biggest, flattest blocks were at the bottom of the messy pile. He had an idea! He started over, placing the biggest, sturdiest block first. Then the next biggest. "Try, try, a new way!" he chanted softly. The tower grew steady and tall, all the way to the top shelf!

At the very top, shimmering in the moonlight, was the sparkly star sticker! He carefully peeled it off and stuck it to his explorer's hat. All the other toys peeked out and cheered for his amazing, non-wobbly tower. Fernando learned that the best adventures sometimes need you to try, and try again, and that not giving up is the most wonderful discovery of all.
