Alice and the Wonderfully Big Garden

Alice loved her garden. It wasn't just any garden; it was a garden where flowers grew big, bigger than her head! And the pumpkins? They grew enormous, like orange houses. Alice would skip along the paths, her bright eyes wide, always wondering, "Why do things grow so very, very big here?"

One sunny morning, while admiring a sunflower taller than any tree she'd ever seen, Alice spotted something new. Tucked low among giant emerald leaves was a tiny, tiny door, sparkling like a secret. "Oh!" she gasped, her heart doing a little flip. "Why is that door so incredibly small?"

Alice knelt down, trying to peek through the tiny door. She tried to push it, but her fingers were far too big. She tried to tap, but her hand covered the whole thing! "Oh dear," she sighed, feeling a bit frustrated. "How can I get through when I'm so big and the door is so very, very small? I wish I could shrink!"

Then Alice remembered what she loved most: asking "why." She looked closely at the leaves around the door. "Why are these leaves shimmering?" she wondered aloud. Suddenly, a little caterpillar with spectacles popped out. "Perhaps you need to ask *how* to shrink, not just *wish* to shrink!" it squeaked, pointing to a dewdrop. Alice drank the dewdrop, and poof! She began to shrink, smaller and smaller, until she was just the right size for the tiny door!

With a delighted giggle, Alice opened the little door and stepped into a world just her size, full of even more growing, shrinking, and wonderful things to explore. She knew that by being curious and always asking "why," she could unlock any adventure. And she couldn't wait to find out why everything inside was so wonderfully, wonderfully strange!
